This improves performance, reduces clutter, and helps focus on essential tasks. Regular maintenance and optimizing user roles can also enhance overall efficiency in managing the site.
1. Click on the Dismiss Button of the Previous Template
- When you log in to your WordPress dashboard, the first thing you may see is a welcome or template notice. To remove it, look for the Dismiss or button near the top of the notification, and click it. This action will hide the template notice and free up space on your dashboard.

- Once the screen options panel is expanded, you’ll see a list of checkboxes, each corresponding to a different widget or feature on the dashboard (e.g., Welcome Panel, Quick Draft, WordPress News, Activity, etc.).
- Uncheck all the boxes to hide these elements from the dashboard. This will significantly reduce clutter and make your dashboard cleaner and more streamlined.
