FOUR EDITIONS • ONE SPINE

Built for the
institution
you actually run.

Most education software was built for one segment and stretched to cover the rest. Praxis ships four editions with native vocabulary: homerooms and IEPs for K-12, credit hours and GPA for colleges, cohorts and score reports for tutoring, courses and SCORM for standalone LMS. Same code, same AI, completely different surface.

AI lesson planner

Type a standard or upload a textbook chapter; get a lesson plan in seconds. Editable down to the minute, exportable to your district's template, audit-logged for instructional leadership review.

The AI brain

Actual AI, not "AI-powered".
Five families, shipped.

Every edtech vendor writes "AI" on the box. We ship the parts you can use on day one: a lesson planner aligned to your state standards, a tutor that talks to students inside their own course materials, auto-grading with rubric feedback, at-risk prediction with a suggested intervention, and a natural-language analytics layer over your whole institution.

Teaching · Lesson planner

Generate a full lesson plan from grade, standard, and topic: objectives, activities, formative checks, homework. Editable, exportable, mapped to Common Core or your state standards.

Students · AI tutor

Scoped to enrolled courses, never gives away test answers, logs every chat for the teacher.

Student: Explain Newton's 3rd law with a real example

Praxis: Picture pushing off a wall on roller skates. Your hands push the wall; the wall pushes you back with equal force. That's why you glide away, even though only you were "trying" to move…

Assessment · Auto-grading

Rubric-based grading for short answers and essays. Teacher uploads the rubric; AI grades and explains; teacher approves.

Rubric (4 pts): Define osmosis
Score: 3 / 4
Comment: Correct definition and direction of water movement. Missing: role of the selectively permeable membrane.

Every role · One platform

A view that respects
who's looking at it.

Praxis renders a different surface to a superintendent, a classroom teacher, a parent, and a student — built from the same data, audit-logged, and accessible by design.

For superintendents, principals & deans

One pane for academic health, financial health, and compliance health. Roll up across schools, drill down to a single section. Decide from data, not spreadsheets.

  • 01Live academic, finance, and attendance health across every school
  • 02Natural-language analytics: ask in English, get an answer with citations
  • 03IPEDS, Clery, Title IX, and state reports generated, not assembled
  • 04At-risk student and tuition-default early warning every Monday
  • 05Multi-school consolidation with per-campus P&L

For teachers & faculty

Take attendance in 30 seconds. Auto-grade the routine. Get an AI co-teacher you can override. Spend the saved hour on the kid who needs it.

  • 01Lesson plans generated, then edited, not started from blank
  • 02Auto-graded quizzes; rubric-graded short answer with override
  • 03Class performance heat-map by standard and topic
  • 04Mobile attendance that works on a Chromebook or a phone
  • 05AI co-teacher for examples, analogies, and translated rephrasings for ELL

For students & learners

A study companion that lives inside your courses, never replaces your teacher, and is always available the night before the unit test.

  • 01AI tutor scoped to your courses, with citations to your notes
  • 02Adaptive practice that gets harder as you get better
  • 03Personalized study plan from your syllabus and exam dates
  • 04Discussion board with peers, teachers, and AI fallback
  • 05Offline-capable mobile for spotty Wi-Fi

For parents & guardians

One app, every child, every school. Attendance, tuition, report cards, bus tracking, conference booking — finally in one place.

  • 01Single login linked to all your children (same or different schools)
  • 02Live bus tracking with pickup confirmation
  • 03Tuition, receipts, payment plans, all consolidated
  • 04Parent-teacher conference booking with calendar sync
  • 05Notifications in your preferred language: SMS, email, push

For operations & business offices

The closing of books, the chasing of tuition, the filing of reports — automated where it can be, audit-logged where it can't.

  • 01Double-entry GL with auto-reconciliation and statutory prep
  • 02Tuition-default risk scoring with auto-cadenced reminders
  • 03Vendor, PO, inventory, and asset depreciation in one ledger
  • 04Payroll with W-2, 941, 1099, and state-specific filings
  • 05QuickBooks, NetSuite, ADP, Paylocity two-way sync
From the field

Why principals, deans, and
test-prep founders chose Praxis.

We filed our state report for 11 schools in an afternoon. Last year it took three people a fortnight. Whatever else Praxis does, it earned its annual fee on that one Tuesday.

Dr. Sarah Whitfield
Chief Academic Officer · Cornerstone Academy Network · Austin, TX

SACSCOC outcomes mapping used to be a 200-hour exercise every cycle. Praxis College generates it from our gradebook in real time. Our accreditation team stopped dreading audits.

Prof. Michael Carrera
Registrar · Mid-Atlantic State University · Richmond, VA

We moved 12,000 students from a legacy SIS in six weeks. AI proctoring saved us from buying a separate vendor. Tuition collection is up 9% in two quarters.

Frequently asked.

If your question isn't here, our team typically replies within one business day.

How is this different from PowerSchool, Infinite Campus, Canvas, or Blackbaud?

Most education platforms target one segment well. Praxis targets four with native editions (K-12 schools, colleges, tutoring centers, and standalone LMS) sharing a single AI brain and a real compliance layer. If you operate across segments, you stop running four separate tools.

Do the AI features support our state standards and English Language Learners?

Yes. The AI brain is mapped to Common Core, NGSS, AP, IB, and all 50 state standards out of the box. Lesson plans, tutoring sessions, and parent communications can be generated in Spanish, Mandarin, Vietnamese, Tagalog, Arabic, Portuguese, Russian, French, and 12 other languages.

How does data residency and FERPA compliance work?

Tenant data is hosted in US-region AWS or Azure (your choice). Enterprise plans get dedicated single-tenant clusters. We're FERPA, COPPA, CCPA, SOC 2 Type II, and ISO 27001 compliant. Section 508 and WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility are built in.

Can we migrate from PowerSchool, Infinite Campus, Skyward, or Veracross?

Yes. We've built importers for every major US SIS and LMS. Most migrations complete in 2–8 weeks depending on size, with a dedicated migration architect for institutions over 5,000 students. Historical data (enrollment, attendance, grades, tuition) comes across intact and audit-logged.

What happens if we exceed the included AI quota?

Nothing breaks. You see a clear warning at 80%, a soft cap at 100%, and overage is billed transparently in 1,000-action blocks at a published rate. You can also configure hard caps per campus or per teacher to prevent surprises.

Who owns the data, including AI-generated content?

You do. The institution owns all institutional data and all derived content (lesson plans, generated questions, graded feedback). Model providers do not retain or train on your data. We delete records on contract termination and provide a full export in machine-readable formats.
